Join us for the WellVet Weekend 2018: 24-26 August, Girton College, Cambridge

When I first heard about the upcoming WellVet Weekend a few months ago, I was so happy to see that there was going to be a UK veterinary conference with an emphasis on self-care and wellbeing. Needless to say, I am absolutely delighted to announce that I will be one of the WellVet Weekend Session Leaders in a months’ time, and I can’t wait to see as many of you there as possible!

Swap your rota, sweet-talk your boss, or if you’re a locum (like me), invest in yourself; just make sure you get your sterile-gloved hands on a ticket. For one full-price ticket, you can bring along a friend for half-price, so it’s a bargain if you’re coming from the same practice, or fellow locums can team up with a buddy and split the difference! See here for info on tickets and prices: WellVet Tickets.

Need more info? Here’s what the organisers have to say about it:

“Come to the WellVet Weekend on the 24th- 26th August 2018 at Girton College, Cambridge, to recharge, refresh and re-energise. It’s a chance for you to learn new skills, take part in your favourite sporting pursuits, meet new friends and catch-up with old ones. Designed specifically with veterinary professionals in mind, you’ll enjoy a variety of sporting activities, yoga classes, CPD wellbeing and skills workshops, plus a fantastic gala dinner featuring an unmissable speech from the World Record Breaking Rob Pope.”
