With Christmas around the corner, many people will be trying to think of the ideal gift for their loved ones. If your loved one happens to be a vet, vet nurse, or work within the veterinary profession, then look no further than a ticket to ‘Surgery to Sanctuary’!
A day at ‘Surgery to Sanctuary’ would also be the perfect way to treat yourself and invest in your self-care, as not only can you expect a relaxing day in beautiful venues close to nature, but you’ll learn tools to use in your day-to-day working lives to optimise your wellbeing and resilience.
Alternatively, if you would like to enquire about group bookings for your colleagues/veterinary team, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. It may help to know that each attendee will gain 3 hours of eligible CPD (NZ), and will receive a certificate of attendance.
Coming to Christchurch and Auckland in February 2019, ‘Surgery to Sanctuary’ is a one-day exploration of yoga and meditation, with a focus on how these ancient practices can help to decrease stress, and improve wellness of the mind and body, in a modern world of busy.
This immersive day is unique for the veterinary industry, as not only will it be tailored to deal with the physical, emotional, and mental challenges those working within it face, but the events will be lead by Dr. Chloe Hannigan (BVetMed MRCVS) and Dr. Sylvie Mclean (BAgSc BVSc), both of whom are practicing vets and qualified yoga teachers. (For more information on the team behind ‘Surgery to Sanctuary, click HERE).
Places are limited at each venue to ensure that every participant has the space to be comfortable, and also benefits from individual attention of the teachers, Chloe and Sylvie.
For $175 (including GST) this includes all yoga/meditation classes/workshops, a delicious lunch, and morning and afternoon teas.
