Check out the beautiful ‘Surgery to Sanctuary’ venues

We’re excited to show off our lovely venues for the upcoming ‘Surgery to Sanctuary’ events in February 2019. We chose them because not only are they ideal for yoga and meditation, but they are both in locations close to, or surrounded by, nature, which is perfect for a day with a relaxing vibe!

CHRISTCHURCH – SUNDAY 3RD FEBRUARY 2019

The Pines Beach Community Hall located in Kaiapoi, close to Christchurch, is a relatively new build and valued highly by the local community. We love that you can open up the front of the building to the spacious outdoor deck, allowing for that indoor-outdoor feel. It is just a few minutes from the beach- a short walk over the sand dunes will bring you close to the ocean. We know this venue is perfect for yoga, as Sylvie already teaches community yoga classes here.

AUCKLAND – SUNDAY 10TH FEBRUARY 2019

This gorgeous shala near Bethells Beach (104 Bethells Road) is also a new build, and not only is it surrounded by lush forest, but the glass walls allow the sunlight to stream in, so connecting to nature is very easy in the beautiful space. The owner, Joy, has created a little haven, with a warm and welcoming vibe, and will be running yoga retreats here for the public. Having met her, she was fully on board with the special event we wanted to create for our veterinary colleagues.
