What’s in store for Surgery to Sanctuary?

With just over two weeks to go we thought you might appreciate a reminder of the awesome day we have planned, so here’s the itinerary so you can see for yourselves what we have to offer!

Join us to discover how you can build your own personal yoga practice at home, with focus on those areas of the body under a lot of strain in our veterinary roles; explore different styles of meditation to find one which works for you, and how you can take them back to your clinic;  and, share with us in a peer-based learning group session on improving wellbeing in the veterinary profession. These educational sessions will not only enable you to tailor yoga and meditation to the stresses of working as a veterinary professional, but will be eligible for 3 hours of CPD, for which all attendees will receive a certificate.

With all that learning and exploring, you’ll also need time to relax and enjoy the beautiful setting of the Bethells Beach yoga shala. We will start the day with an energising and uplifting hatha practice, and end the day with a serene and supremely relaxing yoga nidra session (yogic sleep). Included in the ticket price is also a delicious lunch, and morning and afternoon teas, so you can stay nourished and hydrated throughout the day. We’re proud to be working with Angus Mclean, who will be providing gourmet plant-based food for us (see examples of his food HERE).
